How to navigate:
The best way to learn to navigate our site is to just start exploring. If you get lost, you can always click on the word "Home" and start over again.
Use the navigation bar at the top of the main panel (below our logo) to look for products, gift ideas and specials.

Or use the helpful links above and below the main photo panel to access your account details, shopping basket, customer service or contact information.
How to find our products:
There are basically two ways to explore our product offerings. First, you can browse through the Makana Shop. Or you can use our helpful "search" function.
To browse through the Makana Shop, click on 'Makana Shop'.
The "Makana Shop" selection will give you access to our entire product range. You will first be shown the various categories of products we offer - e.g. "Fruit Favourites", "Classic Truffles", etc. When you click on a category selection, a page will open to display all of the products within that category. You can click on the product picture, the product title or the product list on the left-hand side of the screen. Click on any one of the products to get detailed information, and to place your order.
Another way to find or select a product is to use our Search function. Look for the search bar, just below the main information panel. Enter a key word in the Quick Search box - for example, "macadamia" - and click the Search button: a list of products featuring macadamia nuts will appear.
How to order a product:
To select a product from a search list or from our 'Makana Shop', just click on the product that you wish to purchase. An example is shown below:
Simply enter the quantity that you wish to buy and click the 'Add to Shopping Basket' button. You will then receive a reminder that you have added this item to your Shopping Basket. You then have 3 options, View Shopping Basket, Continue Shopping or Proceed to Checkout.
You can also click on a packaging type (underneath "View Packaging") for further information. You can also follow the "breadcrumb trail" at the top, to find your way back to pages previously visited.
Once you have added your selected item to the shopping basket, you will be able to either continue shopping for more items, or you can "check out." When you check out, the website will take you step-by-step through the process. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to modify your order, add a personalised gift card message, confirm or edit the delivery details, provide for a delayed delivery fate or to communicate any special instructions. It's easy, and all you have to do is follow the simple steps.
When you check out, you can pay for your purchase by direct credit (choose the Account2Account option to pay via any New Zealand or Australian bank account) or with the following credit cards:
Makana is committed to data security. We use the DPS Hosted Payment Gateway to ensure that we never have access to your credit card information. DPS is a level 1 certified PCI_DSS compliant provider.
