Please check these terms and conditions at regular intervals in case they change. Makana® Confections reserves the right to revise or withdraw the content in whole or in part at any time without notice. By using this website, you accept and agree to be bound by any such revisions and you agree to periodically visit this page to establish that the Terms and Conditions of Use and Sale are current.

No re-sale policy:

It is a condition of sale that our products will not be resold in any form. (This policy is primarily due to the relatively short shelf life of our products. Unlike confections intended for wholesale distribution, Makana® uses no preservatives or artificial ingredients).

Copyright and trademarks:

This website is the property of Makana® Confections. Makana® Confections provides access to the information, images, logos, graphics or text on this website for personal use only. Any downloads of information, images, graphics and text are subject to copyright protection.

Currency of transactions:

All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZ$), and charges to your credit card will be denominated in NZ$, but will appear in your credit card statement in the equivalent of the currency in which you are ordinarily billed using the exchange rate determined by your credit card issuer. Makana® Confections has no control over the exchange rates used by your credit card company, and takes no responsibility for such rates.

Delivery:

All reasonable efforts will be made to dispatch in-stock items within 2 working days from receipt of order. For out of stock items, customers will be informed of any delays. For New Zealand destination orders there is a standard charge of $12.50 per delivery destination regardless of the size of the order or delivery location. For shipments outside New Zealand, a NZ$3.50 international packing charge plus International Air parcel post charges will be added to the total cost of the shipment. Please click here to see more information about our shipping policy.

Payment:

A valid customer credit card is required for payment. Your credit card will be charged at the time you submit your order. See the GST & Pricing sections for issues relating to sales tax.

GST:

All prices include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax ("GST'). For customers who are domiciled other than in New Zealand, the prices do not include VAT, sales tax, import duties or other taxes or levies that may apply in the country of domicile, and customers shall be responsible for such items in addition to the purchase price.

Jurisdiction and governing law:

By accessing this site you agree that the laws of New Zealand govern and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
