Makana's Chocolate No-Bake Cheesecake

Summer’s almost here, and the last thing anyone wants is to turn on the oven. ?☀️ Enter our Chocolate No-Bake Cheesecake — creamy, dreamy, and effortlessly indulgent. With a rich chocolatey base, velvety filling, and a touch of festive flair, this dessert is perfect for warm afternoons, dinner parties, or just treating yourself (because why not?). No baking, no stress — just pure chocolate bliss straight from the fridge to your fork.

Biscuit Base
200g chocolate biscuits (e.g., Digestives, chocolate graham crackers or Makana's Chocolate Sea Salt Shortbread)
100g unsalted butter, melted
Chocolate Cheeseacke Filling
300g cream cheese, softened
200g Makana's Bittersweet Chocolate Baking Chips, melted and slightly cooled
150ml thickened cream
100g powdered sugar (or adjust to taste)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional toppings
Whipped cream
Chocolate shavings or curls
Fresh berries
Crush the biscuits into fine crumbs (in a food processor or smash with a rolling pin in a ziplock bag).Mix with melted butter until well combined. Press firmly into the base of a 20cm springform pan. Chill in the fridge while you prepare the filling.
Whip the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the melted chocolate and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whip the cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold into the chocolate mixture until fully combined.
Pour the filling over the chilled base and smooth the top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
Top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and/or fresh berries just before serving.
Slice with a hot knife (dip in hot water, wipe dry) for clean edges.
