We are open 7 days a week, from 9am to 5.30pm. We will be closed on Christmas Day (25th of December) and Boxing Day (26th of December) - our team will be enjoying a well-earned break. We may be closing early on Christmas Eve (24th of December) and New Year's Eve (31st of December).

Makana Confections specialises in gift-quality confections - all hand-made and using only the freshest, natural ingredients available to us.
You are welcome to visit our two boutique chocolate factories in New Zealand — one in the beautiful Bay of Islands area of the North Island, and the other in the heart of the Marlborough Wine Trail at the top of the South Island. Each facility is set up like a winery / cellar door where you can watch how we make our chocolates, taste a few samples and, of course, shop for delicious chocolates.
